3 Ways to Make Money From Blogging

Anyone who spends any time online, is surely familiar with Blogs! Most people have one, they write about what's going on in their lives, or submit interesting Photo's and Videos, and Yet, less than 20% of those of us with a Blog, are making the most of it's true potential.

You see, one of the simplest ways to make Make Money Online is by utilising your Blog. How exactly? There are Two really popular ways in which you can do this: 1) Affiliate Marketing; and 2) Newsletter Subscriptions.

The First Method (and my personal favourite) is Affiliate Marketing. Affiliate Marketing generally consists of either directly signing up as an affiliate through someone's website - or signing up as an affiliate through a third party. By far the most popular Third Party, is ClickBank. You sign up for a ClickBank account, and are given an ID, then you can search the CB Marketplace to find products that you wish to promote, and create a hoplink.

It is Possible to earn as much as 75% per sale; however, if you sell physical products, such as chairs and tables from Link Share retailers, such as Wal-Mart, you will earn a 7-15% commission at best.

If Affiliate Marketing doesn't sound like your cup of tea, you can always consider newsletter subscriptions. You can create an opt-in page on your blog and offer a trial subscription to your newsletter. If you provide quality content and promote your blog, you could end up with hundreds of subscribers over time.

A Third technique that works exceptionally well, is to combine the two methods. By building you list of loyal readers, you could potentially have yourself a captive audience to whom you can then promote Affiliate Products.

This strategy is not without risk, however, you need to be very careful when choosing which products to promote as an Affiliate, otherwise you run the risk of Alienating your loyal followers, if you go about promoting a sub standard product. Thus undoing all the hard work you put in to gain their support in the first place.
