Are You Frustrated With Affiliate Marketing Or Wanting to Find Ways to Boost Your Affiliate Income?

Many affiliate marketers I talk to are disappointed by their level of affiliate marketing income. They seem surprised by how much time, energy and money they've already put in and yet how little affiliate commission income they're actually getting. If you're in this situation it's easy to feel disappointed and even question the viability of affiliate marketing as an income generating business.

The good news is that affiliate marketing has loads of potential to make you money! The bad news is that it's just like any business. It needs you tick every box and focus on each of the necessary key steps to make sure that you're on track. Many affiliates focus lots of energy on choosing the right niche, finding the right affiliate products, and getting their website(s) looking good and up live... And these are all important. But many often neglect to do the checks that will actually keep their business on track and keep their commissions safe.

Here are a few key tips to help you keep your affiliate marketing business safe and boost your affiliate income:

1. Build your list If you don't have a process in place to build an active email list, then you need to build it.. This really is a crucial element to your success. The better your list, the greater will be your income and your success!

2. Check out your competitors Look at your competition. Keep in touch with your competitors and what they say and do. What angles are they using to bring customers to the vendor's website? Is this something you'd like to include in your marketing efforts?

3. Walk in your customers' shoes Think about what it might feel like to be in your customers' situations? What do they want? When do they want it? What do they need to hear from you to feel as if there is a glimmer of hope in what you're offering them around their situation?

4. Check that your vendors are not ripping you off One of the challenging parts of affiliate marketing is that once your customer clicks on your affiliate link and goes to your vendor's website, you really don't have any "true" way of knowing if they buy the product. The truth is that there are many hidden ways that unscrupulous vendors actually set out to steal their affiliates' commissions from them.

It shocks me that even highly savvy affiliates are still being robbed blind by their own vendors and they don't even know it. If this isn't something that you check out with new vendors (or current vendors) then you need to make it a priority! Because no matter how much energy you put into every other element of affiliate marketing... If your vendors are finding underhanded and hidden ways to steal your affiliate commissions, then all your efforts will be for nothing.
